Doryn has provided advice, solutions and product recommendations to the avid and loyal readers of her blog, Doryn's Dish, since 2005. Covering topics including health and beauty, home design and improvement, technology, websites, travel and other lifestyle-related products and services, Doryn has become the "go to resource" for reviews and recommendations on everything unique and different. Unafraid to try anything (within reason, of course!), Doryn's philosophy has always been to recommend only those products and services that she personally tries and loves. More recently, Doryn extended Doryn's Dish to WGCH 1490-AM in Greenwich, CT.
Doryn's professional experience is vast and varied. She has worked in interior design, social work, home staging, commercial real estate, beauty and television (she worked behind the scenes on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - maybe you caught a glimpse of her in her hard hat!). Doryn has also owned and operated several ecommerce businesses and websites.
Doryn has earned degrees in interior design from The Fashion Institute of Technology and in human services and sociology from Simmons College, from which she graduated magna cum laude. Doryn has also trained in beauty and fashion makeup at Greasepaint and Jemma Kidd Makeup School in London.
Doryn resides in Greenwich, Connecticut with her husband and daughter. She previously lived in New York City and London. In her free time, Doryn volunteers for Look Good, Feel Better and is also developing a program that she created called Beauty Beyond Cancer.
